Head of Operations

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, outside-the-box thinker to work on the highest priority outcomes within the business as we rapidly scale customers. You will be responsible for managing the operational teams needed to deliver our offering smoothly. You’ll implement operational improvements to increase output across any human-in-the-loop processes needed to rapidly scale the offering.

Ideal Qualifications

• 6+ years in a high-growth startup environment
• Willing to roll up their sleeves and dive into the nitty-gritty
• Experience leading and growing a service team (e.g. leading a bookkeeping shop)
• Ability to lead an ops team to best-in-class efficiency
• Ability to execute with conviction and good judgment with limited guidance; needs minimal direction in an ambiguous context to take action and then adapt quickly
• Experience working in highly cross-functional roles
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Familiarity with CPG retail
• Ability to work from our NY office full-time

Job Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for executing and leading the ops team to meet kpis and metrics around our service delivery function
• Constantly identify and test new ways to improve operational capabilities of the business
• Analyze the data relevant to any project or focus area; run your own queries, build your own dashboards, build your own Pivot Tables
• Design and document SOPs
• Track KPIs of the core platform to ensure successful delivery of deductions analysis and disputing

Glimpse helps retail-first CPG brands automate their cash reconciliation process and fight invalid fees from retailers and distributors using AI. Imagine a beverage company selling $100k worth of goods to Whole Foods but only getting paid $60k. The remaining $40k is deducted via hundreds of small charges, sent long PDFs with obscure codes that a team has to manually review to ensure the fees are valid. Almost always a percentage of these fees are invalid, and brands have to go through a lengthy process to reclaim the money owed.
